Founded in 1969. In 1995, Manitowoc acquired the Shannon Group which included Kolpak, becoming part of Manitowoc's Foodservice Group. In 2017 Manitowoc Foodservice changed its name to Welbilt after it was spun-off as an independent company in 2016.
