Icemeister's Back Room

This section of my website is an assimilation of Icemeister's Back Room website, his extensive accumulation of technical literature, videos and JavaScript apps over his 45+ years in the refrigeration industry.

Charlie Bartlett as he was known to his family and friends, graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston in 1970 and attending Northeastern University, studying mechanical engineering. He worked for his Dad’s refrigeration contracting firm; in sales and service for a Hussmann distributor; for Dunham-Bush in West Hartford, CT, as a sales engineer; as a refrigeration engineer for First National Supermarkets in Windsor Locks, CT, and then as the head of his own refrigeration-contracting firm, Bartlett Refrigeration, in Florida before retiring. He had been active in the online forum HVAC-Talk since 2000, chairing its educational committee. He passed away on August 25, 2021.

DISCLAIMER: Charlie desired to provide a free and open informational resource for commercial refrigeration service technicians. It is a compilation of files he has gathered over time from other websites, both commercial and personal. Copyright infringement, if it exists, is not intentional. If you feel any material presented here is in violation of your rights, please contact me at: andy@hvacradvisors.com.

Charlie had an interest in collecting installation, operation & service manuals & videos that could not be readily found on the manufacturer's website. If you have such publications and wish to have posted to this site, please send to me at: andy@hvacradvisors.com. If the files are too large to email, consider using Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or some other file transfer service of your choice. As an alternative, you may upload here.

Thanks to rundawg (Randy Lambert) for downloading Charlie's files and testing the links to these files on my web pages.
